Oscura Presents:

CHEW

Beach Terror

The Dead Nettles

Noser

“CHEW is psychedelic, but whatever the back psychedelia is. The antithesis of glossy pop riffs and recycled arrangements, Chew manages to squeeze and contort multiple genres in a fuzzed out freak out of a live performance.

The band hails from Atlanta, Georgia, and released their first ep, 3D EP in 2016. In 2017, CHEW released A Fine Accoutrement, in 2020 Darque Tan, and in 2022 HORSES with Stolen Body Records. Their new record Darque Market is coming soon.”

In Transit, New Aesthetics, Cruel Curses, Imaginary Colors

Oscura Presents:

In Transit

New Aesthetics

Cruel Curses

Imaginary Colors

---

"Seamlessly skirting the blurry lines of genres, In Transit effortlessly blend all the best elements of Dischord Era post-hardcore with late 90’s emo hooks and the new wave synths and samples of all your favorite old Cure albums. Because... why not? We all still love it.

The band prides themselves on carefully crafting expansive, cinematic and dynamically progressive indie rock and sticking to the highest work ethic a band can have. Hailing from the Tampa Bay area, In Transit began in 2018 and has been a workhorse in the regional scene ever since. Made entirely of longtime members of the area Music community for decades running - their experience and resume shines through in their music.

Pop Stew Radio called them “A fiery bland of indie rock and post-core with haunting riffs and a larger than life sound”, They have shared the stage with countless local and regional artists, along with shows alongside legendary acts such as Garrett Klahn (Texas is the Reason), The Darling Fire (Rocking Horse Winner, Further Seems Forever, As Friends Rust) and Florida scene heavyweights – Have Gun Will Travel, Slap Of Reality and Hollyglen among others."

***************************************

Mamalarky’s tenderly tangled indie rock has the internal logic of ridiculous jokes shared between band members after spending weeks on the road together. The sum of friendships and collaborations dating back to their teenage years, the band melds flashy instrumental moves with head-sticking hooks and lovesick lyrics welcoming anyone into their private world. While Mamalarky are ostensibly an indie-pop group, they stand out from the laid-back melancholy moods of contemporaries with complex instrumental interplay that inspires lean-forward listening.

Razor & The Boogie Men

GDSOB

Chulismo

Las Nadas

Sir Sympathy

---

"Razor and the Boogie Men are a stoner punk trio from St. Petersburg, Florida. RATBM's debut self titled EP was released in January, 2020. This EP drew inspiration from horror punk, surf rock and the blues. RATBM's early performances often drew comparison to the Dead Kennedys and The Misfits. Their follow up EP "I Want Nothing" saw the band delve deeper into their punk roots. "I want Nothing" was recorded live at the WMNF885 radio station and released in June, 2020.

RATBM's 2023 release, "Roach Motel", took the punk influences that were so prevalent on their first two EPs and ran them through a psychedelic filter. "Roach Motel" takes inspiration from Stoner Doom, psychedelic rock and new wave disco. RATBM has opened for punk heavy weights, Strike Anywhere and feminist punk rockers, War On Women. In 2023 RATBM became featured artists for Quilter Amplifiers."

Lovesong - A Tribute to The Cure

Oscura Presents:

Lovesong - Tribute to The Cure - https://thecuretribute.com

feat. First Wave

---

“LOVESONG brings you an amazing show like you are at a real Cure concert. Rusty Wilmot is Robert Smith personified on stage and people have mistaken him for the real front man on many occasions. The band has spent hundreds of hours to reproduce the exact sounds of every song, along with a mesmeric visual show of lights and video to add to the Cure concert style experience.”

“First Wave is a nationally touring five-piece band dedicated to celebrating the timeless hits of the new wave and alternative scenes of the ‘70s, ‘80s, and ‘90s. Paying tribute to legends like The Cure, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, INXS, The Smiths, and David Bowie, First Wave captures the essence of these iconic eras with a setlist that spans the best of synth-pop, goth, and alternative rock. Their performances offer a nostalgic yet fresh take on the music that shaped generations, with energy and passion that’s as electrifying today as it was decades ago.”
