“In 2018, Oscura opened initially as a café and bar, boasting a specialty coffee program and a nuanced menu of sandwiches, small plates, and breakfast items - the avocado toast, a fan favorite, notable among them. After closing the original location in downtown Bradenton in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Oscura reopened with a new focus on live music and community endeavors, but has never lost sight of the original heart of its brand - a good cup of coffee and a quality bite to eat. Our coffee program features locally-roasted espresso, light bites, and creative pastries, all made fresh in-house. Pro-tip: don’t sleep on the seasonal latte specials, some home-made egg-bites, and if you’re feeling frisky, try the Espresso Tonic spiked with a fruity herbal liqueur.
Oscura by day offers a perfect space for community members to take meetings, study, or just catch up over a latte, evolving as the sun sets into a customizable event space or moody concert venue.

“As the premiere destination for live, original music and entertainment in the Bradenton area, we offer a superlative quality of craft cocktails, housemade specialty sandwiches, and small-plates to match the level of art we showcase. We curate a playful offering of food and drink utilizing fresh, seasonal ingredients, while staying approachable in cost without sacrificing craftsmanship and attention to detail. Try the “Cosmo & Wanda”, a bubbly Vodka-based cocktail featuring rose-cardamom syrup and cranberry liqueur, or sample one of our wide selection of local craft beers. Don’t skip our Cuban Sandwich, which we recreate as faithfully to an original as possible - or if you’re in the mood for lighter fair, the Charred Scallion Dip is a creamy umami bomb to hold you over.
